The Art of Successful Manifestation
If you’ve been manifesting like a crazy person and so far haven’t seen any progress then it’s time for a re-set. It’s easy to get lost in a manifestation cycle. The mind is not working for your success. Far from it, it is working to keep you safe. Unfortunately it’s concept of ‘safe’ is a bit skewed :/
Keeping you safe means sticking with the familiar. The same old same old is the safest place it knows. Your soul wants more, wants to break out and be free to experience new things but your mind has other ideas. It’s relentless in it’s quest to keep you safe. So, you find yourself languishing in a reality loop. Maybe you get the tiniest of glimpses into a more exciting future but they fast disappear back to where ever they came from, so much so that yo could be forgiven for wondering if they were simply a glitch in the matrix.
You Can’t See Change Whilst You Do the Same Thing
You have to change something to change something. You cannot continuously put a car engine together with one piece missing and expect it to work.
Your mind can be a destructive force, seemingly working against you to scupper any future plans that mean change. It can be frustrating and often make you want to scream! Name your mind. Give it a name, any name, although try to avoid comforting names. What you want is to use an everyday name. I call mine Julie. Nothing against Julie’s, it just resonated with me in the moment. ‘Shut up Julie.’ ‘Not now Julie.’ ‘Okay Julie, blah, blah, blah.’ – You’ll find you don’t take it so seriously. I had a friend called Julie when I was 14. She’d throw a glass of water over me to wake me up when I slept over. She didn’t take life seriously. She was a bit crazy in an endearing way, but I wouldn’t take her too seriously. So, a name you won’t take seriously.
Julie does not know what it best for me. She can counter all my dreams with her nonsense and I will not listen. I will laugh at her lack of foresight because she is not me. It’s easier to dismiss someone else. Dismissing ‘your mind’ is a different thing. You claim it as yours and all it’s musings seem rational. You begin to feel deluded for entertaining new things, things that seem far out of reach. The mind detects your concerns and jumps on them, amplifying them so that they become deafening.
Remember This: Your mind is not where the magic happens. It is where the stalemate occurs. It’s only job is to keep you safe. If you want more, you have to be prepared to embrace the unknown. You must accept that you can survive without knowing everything. Great things happen when we accept that fear is okay. It doesn’t make us less than. Fall into the unknown and let your higher self guide you. Let your mind do what it does, just don’t entertain it. It’ll soon quieten when it has no longer has a captive audience.
