What are we doing when we manifest?
Manifestation, whilst seemingly magical, mystical or damn right coincidental, is simply choice. We make a decision and we stick to it whatever happens. Over time, we receive little nudges toward the outcome. Call this intuition if you like. You have decided the version of reality that you’d like to experience and the universe makes sure you get the right opportunities. That’s what we are manifesting really, the opportunity to get the outcome we want.
Sometimes however, it appears instantly. How is this? If time is happening all at once and not linear as we once thought, then everything is instant isn’t it? What appears to take time is merely a subconscious belief. There is no other explanation that makes this work. If I can think of a person because I am triggered to think of them due to something I have seen or heard, and I see them that afternoon after not having seen them for months, this is a manifestation. Okay, it’s minor, it showed up fast because there was NO resistance. There was no part of me that was saying ‘but….’
The ‘buts’ have it! I want this new job but….., I want this relationship but…..
It’s easy to find reasons that might stop us from manifesting what we want. You want the relationship but he said he wasn’t into me, he doesn’t want anything serious, he always chooses someone else in the end….What if none of that mattered?
Why Circumstances Don’t Matter When We’re Manifesting
What is a circumstance anyway? It’s something we experienced in the past. Like everything, it was an experience. It’s energy will linger if you let it. However, if you let it go, it will not impact your present or future. You can override all things with a pure intent that comes with conviction. ‘I WANT THIS’ – Yes, it’s okay to want it! Wanting does not equal lack. Lack is a feeling for sure, but simply wanting something isn’t the same thing.
When we feel stuck, it’s because we are holding on to something. That can be the thoughts that are in contradiction to our desire, feeling as if we don’t have it and longing for it, constant frustration that we cannot make it happen….What if you let all that go right now? When we have something in a stranglehold, it cannot breath. It can do nothing but stay as it is. We don’t have to let go of the desire for it, only the debris around it. Circumstances, attachment to it, frustration, disappointment. Imagine how free you would feel if you could do this. It’s how we make space for what we want to show up.
How to Let Go
The old saying ‘Let go be free’ couldn’t be any more apt here. Every day say to yourself (source, God, universe) ‘I choose to let the noise go. I choose to start allowing.’ – This isn’t a one shot deal. Not for most of us anyway. Why? because the mind holds on tight. It doesn’t want to let go incase this doesn’t happen, incase it can’t trust the part of us that processes our desire and translates it into 3d pictures.
Over time though, you will be able to detach more readily from most things. Don’t allow the mind to hold the control because it’s need to control means we feel stuck and we can’t change anything without changing something.
